QNB League

2015 QNB League (previously named IndonesiaSuper League), one of professional football competition run by PT. Liga Indonesia. QNB League has more than 300 games in a season and get 168 million TV audience in 2014.

2015 QNB League will be attended by 18 clubs consisting of 17 2014 Super League teams and Pusamania Borneo FCas the only team from 2014 First Division. Champion of 2015 QNB League will qualify for second round of 2016 AFC Champions League play-off qualification. 2015 QNB League will return to one region format, after last season using two regions format.

Persib Bandung became 2014 Super League champions after winning penalty shoot out against Persipura Jayapura. Persiba Bantul, Persijap Jepara, Persita Tangerang, and Persepam Madura United were relegated from Super League last seasonMeanwhile, Pusamania Borneo FC guarantee their first appearance Super League. But, Persiwa Wamena and Persik Kediri was disqualified from participating in this season because failing to comply with financial and infrastructure requirements during PSSI verification.

After verification process, on April 2015 BOPI recommend only sixteen clubto compete in 2015 Super League. Two teams left, Arema Cronus and Persebaya, BOPI reasoned that two clubs have dual ownershipBOPI ask two clubs to complete requirements, but both Arema Cronus and Persebaya can’t completed their documnets and until BOPI time limit.
                   
After Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Imam Nahrawi, postponed the opening of 2015 season because of legal verifications reasons. On February 23, 2015, it was agreed that this season will start on April 4, 2015. This season was officially discontinued by PSSI on May 2, 2015 due to a ban by Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, against PSSI to run any football competition.
